AC test systems with variable frequency - WRV-M
- The main unit is a cast-resin type high-voltage reactor.
- Suitable for GIS switchgear and transformer testing (withstand voltage).
- Compact size and minimal weight.
- Applicable for both factory routine testing and on-site acceptance testing.
- Voltage range: 160–800 kV.
- Current range: Below 10 A.
- Power range: Below 6 MVA.
AC test systems with variable frequency (WRV M) are used for withstand voltage testing on transformers after they are installed on-site and for purposes of diagnostics in asset management. The test system operates in a frequency range from
40 Hz to 200 Hz and complies with the requirements according to IEC 60076-3. The test object is connected to the test system using a flexible high-voltage connection. The high-voltage reactor features a modular design. Several reactors can be connected in series or parallel to achieve higher test voltages or power.
