The LiMOS power loss measuring system is used for highly accurate measurement of losses as part of the routine and type testing of power transformers. The combined voltage and current sensor reduces the space requirement to a minimum. The signals digitized and pre-processed in the sensor unit are transmitted to the receiver unit via fiber optic cable.
The LiMOS is completed by the associated iMOS software for operating the measurement system and processing and displaying the measurement data.
